"A Priori’s core values center around collaboration, and for this piece, Boston-based mixed media artist Anna Fubini has curated a beautiful original work to help tell the story of the Winter Journey. The installations you’ll see today, entitled “Chronic,” illustrate the ever-forward movement of the song cycle and the tethering that the wanderer feels towards his bliss from the summertime. As he battles with the unrequited love he feels, the nature around him seems to close in and pull him further away from that pain into its embrace. There are many moments in the cycle where the wanderer comments on seeking rest for weary limbs but presses onward in order to keep his heart from having to face the even colder and harsher truth."
